USBlyzer is USB support application integrated in Windows and Microsoft operating system. It can provide layered structure wherein vendor-supplied user- and kernel-mode and system-supplied components are involved in communications via USB. Connections performed using USB are initially conducted by applications that connect with the operating system by prompting Windows API functions. As a response Windows API functions then interact with the fitting device drivers giving access to USB device via basic and vendor-specific interfaces. USBlyzer is USB analyzer and USB data traffic sniffer designed to provide full view in analyzing and monitoring USB Hubs, USB Host and USB Devices activity. It is a complete application for analyzing USB protocol so additional installation of software and hardware is not required. It runs on Windows Server 2003, 32-bit version of Windows 2000, Windows Vista and Windows XP and does not require service pack.
