Nokia Suite, formerly Nokia Ovi Suite, is an application for Nokia users to hook up their devices with Microsoft Windows. It can synchronize contacts, calendar, messages, photos, videos and music between a Nokia device and a PC. Mobile devices utilize the Symbian OS for installations and the installer archives used by Symbian are known as SIS files. Well known mobile devices utilize Symbian OS, meaning SIS files are important in almost all mobile devices especially when it comes to installing applications. It requires "makesis" command line tool in generating SIS files and this tool comes with the CreateSIS program. SIS files can be opened by moving them to the suitable mobile device or the device using the Symbian OS but most of the time, SIS files are helpful for setting up themes in an S60 phone. After SIS files are moved, they can be viewed on the mobile device. Mobile phone programs such as the Nokia Suite can open SIS files. This is an application that enables the transfer of data on the computer such as photos, music and videos to the mobile phone and vice versa.
