CDF Player is software that was developed by Wolfram Research which provides its users the capability of viewing files written in Computable Document Format more commonly known as CDF. The software was made available to users of Linux, Microsoft Windows and Macintosh but cannot be used with tablets or ebooks. CDF Player provides its users with different capabilities which include interacting with the different applications which are part of the Wolfram Demonstrations Project, exploring documents which are deemed to be interactive using the web browser, and viewing different Mathematica reports, files and examples. It provides its users with different tools which can also be found in the Mathematica Player including tools being used for analysing and visualizing graphs, 2D as well as 3D image recognition, text mining, adding different types of user interfaces which are commonly used for applications and calculations.
