SubSpace is a space shooter two dimensional computer game that integrates quasi-realistic zero-frictionphysics into a multiplayer online game. It is different from three dimensional games because the player view is from above. The game does not have a built-in story objectives, each player who enters the game through different servers have different objectives, maps, sounds, and graphics. A clone of the subspace was developed by Priit Kasesalu, also the developer of Kazaa and Skype. He developed the back-end which includes the game play and security, and the front-end was developed by Mr Ekted. They called the game Continuum and it has its own original features. Subspace had several security failures and has been thoroughly analyzed by cheat programs like Twister that alters the in-memory data. Continuum has an encryption scheme with security related features and is the Subspace Central Billing Server’s official client. Many attempts were made to crack the Continuum encryption, but it was all easily flagged and banned. immediately with Continuum’s banning system. The first released of the game was in 2001. The last version of Continuum was officially released in September 2007.
