Koona Software Quick Pallet Maker

Koona Software Quick Pallet Maker

Quick Pallet Maker is a pallet package / loading design software that calculates pallet dimensions and arrangements to reduce shipping costs. Users can start by entering the primary package / box dimensions. Default box calculations can be based from PP dimensions or standard case dimensions. Pallet calculations can be made by using the standard pallet dimensions, regular pallets, optimized pallets, pinwheel patters, and alternating pallet layers. If any of these patterns does not match the desired arrangement, users can use the Layer editor to customized arrangement of individual boxes. The Quick Pallet Maker has a container fill window feature to calculate easily single-sized objects or multiple-sized objects according to desired orientation. Output file formats can be in XML, CSV, SVG, MS Excel, JPEG, BMP, PICT or Quick Time. It supports Win 2000 to 7 and Mac OS X platforms. System requirements include 1 GB RAM and 1024x768-screen resolution.

a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .qpm files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .qpm. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
