Hi Curt,
Give these a try when you attempt to activate the program:
1. Try turning off your Firewall or internet security program temporarily
2. Go to: Start Control Panel Internet Options \'Connections\' tab \'LAN Settings\' select \"Automatically detect settings\" OK
3. Turn off the \"Offline\" or \"Work offline\" mode in Internet Explorer
