SSI HLM software

Scientific Software International (SSI) developed HLM as multilevel modeling software that defines linear and nonlinear relationships between data in a hierarchical structure. Real-world applications for this statistical tool include scoring of tests administered to different groups and calibrating exam questions to fit progressive levels of learning. The software computes and analyzes data through eight or more modules that correspond to different models of Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM). The latest version of SSI HLM is certified Compatible with Windows 7/Vista and other related products. It introduces three new models that compute outcomes based on binary, count, ordinal, and nominal variables. This edition uses Adaptive Gauss-Hermite Quadrature (AGH) and high-order Laplace approximations when estimating maximum likelihood in generalized models. HLM now writes statistical notations in its HTML editor and allows users to cut and paste flow diagrams, pie charts, tables, and images into pages.

Eiksoft Mario Dash

Based on the classic Nintendo game Super Mario Bros, Mario Dash is a 2D platformer game written in Blitz code and distributed through the Eiksoft website. The complete source code is freely available for download to game developers and players. This application doesn't need installation and keeps game information, including high scores and saved game plays, within its folder. New versions of Mario Dash may include new music files, improved animation like rain drops and water splashes, and more sets of custom graphics. The player moves through four worlds, including Bower's Castle, leaping through other stages and dodging Mario's enemies. Pressing the Space bar makes Mario jump over deadly mushrooms while holding down the Space bar makes him run very fast. Players can edit or create new maps with more bricks and flowers, new music, and background color through the level editor.
