MAGIX Music Maker MX 18 provides professionals and amateurs the edge in combining sounds and loops to produce their next big hit. The software already came with an instant archive of more than 1,500 samplers from any musical genre and offers its users more choices from an online gallery of two thousand audio clips. The recordings were done in studios where professional musicians and producers have collaborated on various projects. Aside from pre-recorded loops, the Music Maker also has a set of virtual percussions and stringed instruments that produce realistic sounds that seem to come from an orchestra or a band playing on stage. It even has options for filters and effects applied to the sound of instruments and the samplers to make them reverberate a little or to distort them into resembling analog sounds. Users can upload and share their work on social media sites from inside the program.

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 18 MX Plus is an application for video editing featuring cinematic transitions, special effects and templates, presents videos on TV online, advanced dubbing using DolbyDigital 5.1 mixer, complete stereo 3D support, a program interface, complete HD support for AVCHD and HDV camcorders and included 99 tracks, travel route animation and Multi-Cam editing. It offers calculation of intermediate images and dynamic slow motion effects. It has 3 times faster AVCHD export and enhanced travel route animation. It added professional templates used for movie trailers and a MX function feature for sharing and exchanging media and projects. For video editing, they also enabled individual adjustable track height and the ability to zoom preview images in Media Pool. With the help of Magix Hybrid Video Engine it now provides faster graphics processor and can now support basic technology like OpenCL for AMD and NVIDIA vision graphic cards and CUDA.
