Cubase is a music and sound software used as a Digital Audio Workstation for recording, arranging and editing music. Various tracks may also be mixed into a stereo .wav file format and burned into a CD using the Red Book format, or it can be burned as an .mp3 file format in CD or DVDs, they may also be published and shared on the Web Most of the Cubase versions utilizes dongles for copy protection. This permits license transfer between host machines, but the recent versions of the already uses software based protection. Cubase uses cross-platform USB dongles with a code encryption license from Syncrosoft.
