Dr.Explain is software that was developed by Indigo Byte Systems which aids to provide its users the capabilities of creating user guides, documentation, manuals that can be used online and help files that are often used for different types of software applications. The software was made available in 9 different languages including English, Italian, and Spanish among others. Dr.Explain works by analysing the assembly of the user’s software’s interface and will then start generating the drafts for the help topic which are all being done automatically. It has a built-in HTM parsing capability that allows its users to document all of the significant parts of the user’s website. Dr.Explain has the capability of creating help files which may include screenshots as well as different technical illustrations. The software allows the generating of the comprehensive array of help topics using different formats with the use of just one source file.
