TablEdit

TablEdit is an application used in creating, listening, editing and printing sheet music or standard notation and tablature for guitar and other stringed instruments that includes bass, banjo and mandolin it also takes into consideration the use of fifth string. TablEdit developed a capability to support harmonica, mountain dulcimer, anglo-irish concertina, diatonic button accordion, violin, drums, whistle, tin, xaphoon, recorder, autoharp, Native American flute, Arabic oud and pedal steel guitar. It runs on both Macintosh and Windows. There are also lite versions for Windows Mobile or Pocket TablEdit and iPad or TEFpad. Its features comprise of instant conversion from tablature to standard notation and vice versa. It has integrated multi document interface that allows multiple TablEdit files to open. TablEdit supports unlimited language support including English, German, French and Spanish with 17 linguistic patches while help files are available in English, Spanish, French and German.

TEFview

TEFview is a TablEdit file viewer that allows users to play files that used the TablEdit format. It is one type of a media player that works on a specific file. TablEdit is computer application that allows users to create and edit sheet music and tablature for guitars and other string instruments like bass guitar and mandolin. Users can listen to the songs with its original quality even if played at various speed. It can also play looped sections of the songs, which is best for practicing music. The viewer also allows users to print song sheets for easy reference. It also has the ability to add a Web link within the sheet. Its comes with a Title Information option if users want to add other pertinent data to a file. TEFview works with Windows 98 / 95 / 2000, Windows XP/ Vista / ME and Windows 7 & 8.
