what is a .sbt file?

The SBT file extension is implemented by two software applications for different reasons. One of these programs is the Superbase software. This is an application that use this type of file format for storing notes that correspond to a project. This software started as a simple database software, which later transitioned into a desktop application that is made up of a programming language which efficiently automates its database-oriented functionalities. The role of an SBT file when used with this software is to save important details of the Superbase project. These SBT files can also be used as a later reference file for the software. This software can be installed in computers that run on widely used versions of Microsoft Windows, and this program needs to be installed in the system in order to implement support for these SBT files.

Superbase Classic

Superbase Classic

Superbase Classic is the pioneer when it comes to relational database management system (RDBMS). The product was initially created in 1989 using RDBMS but was developed to use Peer-to-Peer Client / Server (PPCS) technology in 1999. The product combines the ease and functionality of a desktop database and an SQL database respectively. The result is a more reliable database management system with high performance and easy file and data sharing. The use of PPCS in Superbase Classic makes unlimited connection to multiple servers possible, access to all databases within connected servers possible. It eliminates the need to use two software products for client and server needs. The new Superbase Classic now features add-on creation where add-ons can be integrated into the Program menu. Only a maximum of eight add-ons can be added at one time. Superbase Classic owners are also provided with a data mining and analysis tool called the SuperView.
Superbase Scientific

Superbase Scientific

Superbase Scientific is a simulation tool that allows full programming control for real life problems recreated in the system. This general simulation software’s strong point is the use of Super Basic Language (SBL), which is quite similar to Visual Basic. Both are easy to use, can be conveniently linked to databases and the output can be easily customized according to preference. Superbase Scientific can simulate dynamic systems controlled by varied equations over time so analysis of behavior is possible. It can also view 3D objects in perspective. This tool is best for summation, differentiation, numerical integration and matrix multiplication. The main selling point of this product is the ease of use and its real-life application uses. Superbase Scientific also features graphic presentation such as graphing Cartesian coordinates. It also has a built-in statistical function for applications that require statistical data.
SBF Parser

SBF Parser

SBF Parser is a program generally classified as an application development tool, and this software is embedded with compatibility protocols for computers that are running on supported Microsoft Windows systems. There are also versions of SBF Parser that is implemented with compatibility support for Linux machines and Mac platforms. This application is used in tandem with SuperBase, which is a program that is used by application developers to create software for network computers and devices. SBF Parser can be used to create files and resources required by network applications developed using the SuperBase program, and these network applications are integrated with sequential commands, lines of code and directives that allow it to transmit data and communicate with both network servers and network client machines. SBF Parser can also be used to open and modify the content of compatible resources and data stored in supported file formats that are included as application files of network programs created with SuperBase.
Superbase SB Next Generation Workbench

Superbase SB Next Generation Workbench

Superbase SB Next Generation Workbench is an end-user desktop database program based on the Object-Basic programming language. Superbase Next Generation is comprised of a family of products and tools such as basic and advanced development tools, form designer, report designer and end-user database. The Superbase NG Workbench uses Common Gateway Interface (CGI), Fast Common Gateway Interface and Information Server Application Programming Interface (ISAPI). The Superbase NG Workbench can operate Windows (CGI, Fast CGI and ISAPI) and Intel-based Linux (CGI and Fast CGI only). Apple Mac OS-X support is under development at present. The Next Generation Workbench can support all SIMPOL value data types. These include Boolean, blob, number, integer and string. It also supports time, date and date/time data types. The Next Generation Workbench consists of the Superbase Next Generation IDE, Documentation of the IDE and Documentation about SIMPOL.

a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .sbt files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .sbt. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
