Zylox Software Internet Researcher

Zylox Software Internet Researcher

Zylox Software, Inc. designed the Internet Researcher as an alternative web browser that can search automatically for keywords, download complete websites for offline use and data analysis, and save web pages with Flash videos and dynamic images. This browser keeps a cache of all pages that users visited and loads a specific webpage based on a key word or phrase. It pre-fetches the saved web pages to allow users to browse them even while offline. While searching through the Internet, this browser has protective countermeasures against malicious sites that automatically open new windows and prevent users from exiting. To keep it lightweight and fast, the browser blocks banner displays and animated ads from appearing on the page. Apart from a web browser, Internet Researcher is also a useful tool for developers and webmasters who wanted to regularly check their websites for broken links and formatting errors.

a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .irp files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .irp. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
