Intuit My Time

Intuit My Time

Intuit My Time is an application for Mac OS that serves as an electronic daily time record and time sheet. Centralizing the time sheet data of a particular work place, Intuit My Time basically registers time ins and time outs, and tallies the time spent by an employee for work by the second. Intuit My Time is part of the Intuit QuickBook for Mac OS software, and it imports time sheet data from said software. After tallying the day’s time record, it exports the data for manipulation in spreadsheets. Since the data generated by Intuit My Time may be manipulated, it enables human resource officers to round off the time registered by an employee by the nearest hour and for a human resource officer to determine the overtime pay, as well as under times. It is developed by American financial preparation firm Intuit, Inc.

a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .imt files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .imt. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
